Duties and Responsibilities:
The University of Houston Law Center invites applications for lateral (already tenured or tenure-track) or entry-level tenure-track Property/Land Use/Water position. Applicants must hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent) and should have outstanding records of accomplishment in scholarship, teaching, and service, or demonstrate a high probability of success as scholars, teachers, and future members of the Law Center's broader community. Compensation will be based on experience and accomplishment. These positions will commence with the fall 2017 semester.
The Law Center has 47 full-time faculty and enrolls a total of 850 students. In addition to offering a vibrant J.D. program, the Law Center offers LL.M. concentrations in health law; taxation; energy, environment, and natural resources; international law; and intellectual property. The Law Center is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.
