The expanding Department of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is seeking outstanding candidates for an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology on the clinician educator or clinician scholar line with expertise in Immunodermatology. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and academic scholarship. Duties include teaching of residents and medical students, direct patient care, participation in scholarly activities, and continued development and management of the autoimmune bullous diseases clinic, with and emphasis of state-of-the-art, novel therapies such as immunoapheresis. Clinical responsibilities will be conducted in the ambulatory setting of Keck Medicine of USC.
The Keck School of Medicine of USC, founded in 1885, has been a close affiliate with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 1932. Its mission has been to improve the quality of life for individuals and society by promoting health, preventing and curing disease, advancing biomedical research and educating tomorrow’s physicians and scientists. The Department of Dermatology is rapidly growing with 16 full-time faculty, three R01 grants, a growing Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural Dermatology, Dermatopathology and Dermatoepidemiology Unit.
