Posting Summary: The Beirne B. Carter Center for Immunology Research at the University of Virginia seeks a postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah Ewald. The position will integrate a new proteomics technology with questions in immunology and innate inflammation. The individual should have an interest in chronic inflammation, disease or tumor immunology.
Candidates must have an M.D. and/or a Ph.D. degree in hand by the start date and have demonstrated expertise in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry for a related field. The individual should be self-motivated and have developed skills in mentoring, written and oral communication, and the design and analysis of experimental questions.
