SENIOR FINANCIAL PROJECTS ANALYST, Sloan School of Management, to work collaboratively with stakeholders on Sloan-wide financial projects and processes including reporting, budgeting, and long-term planning. Will execute projects related to transforming and/or establishing diverse finance, accounting, and business processes; serve as the financial project expert for the Office of Finance; work across Sloan with administrative units, degree programs, centers, and initiatives to solve financial issues and implement changes with a focus on revenue-, expense-, and capital-related projects; analyze historical financial information, perform trend analyses of historical relationships, forecast future financial results, and recommend approaches to improve analyses and forecasts while working in partnership with other financial analysts; and continually suggest and lead projects to enhance the effectiveness/efficiency of Sloan's fiscal operations while identifying their impact on its budget and long-range plan.

REQUIRED: B.A. in finance or related field (MBA preferred); minimum of seven years' experience relevant to financial operations, planning, reporting, and systems; financial experience at a decision-making level; in-depth knowledge of financial operations principles, practices, and theories; project management skills; ability to design solutions for internal/external clients; comfort presenting complicated and nuanced issues directly to senior leaders; ability to define, implement, document, and adhere to policies and procedures; experience with budgeting, analysis, financial reporting, and nonprofit accounting; exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills; ability to suspend judgment and be open minded and transparent with regard to data/facts; discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues; and advanced computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint), knowledge of SAP or similar accounting package, and relational database skills.
