The Laboratory Technician assists with the daily operation of a research laboratory, managing ordering and supplies, and assist laboratory members in the conduct of animal experiments.
Assist laboratory members in the conduct of animal experiments, including mouse perfusion, tissue preservation and sectioning, histologic staining, immunohistochemistry staining, fluorescence microscopy, and data analysis. Assist with training of other technicians and undergraduate students on these techniques.
Preparing materials for animal experiments, ordering and maintaining lab supplies, chemicals and equipment.
Participating in lab meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field or high school degree and two years' of related experience
MS in Biomedical Engineering or related field
