Asst, Assoc or Full Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Respiratory Medicine, Research Director Cystic Fibrosis

The Division is seeking an academic physician with a commitment to research and cutting-edge care in Cystic Fibrosis.
The Division of Respiratory Medicine's nationally-ranked program is expanding and growing with inpatient/outpatient/consulting services at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego and UCSD Medical Center, participation in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Translational Development network, an excellent relationship with the adult CF Center, and a diverse and well-funded portfolio of basic research.
All areas of discovery (clinical and basic) with high impact will be considered. Applicants with expertise in genomics, microbiome, and systems medicine will be best position to take advantage of the emerging collaborative opportunities in our institution. Candidates with interest and appropriate qualifications will be considered for Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Care Center at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.
Qualified candidates must be MDs or MD/PHDs, have California medical license/eligibility, and board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology, with significant experience in Cystic Fibrosis. The ideal candidate must have a strong research background and interest in the clinical, research and educational missions in an academic environment. Candidates are required to show a demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will determined by the successful candidate's skills, qualifications and funding.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
