The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is expanding its faculty in the section of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The position will encompass direct, full range of Ob/Gyn patient care, including general obstetrics and gynecology practice, labor and delivery coverage, and gynecologic surgery. A significant interest in medical student and resident teaching is expected. Prior to the start of employment, qualified candidates must: 1) have completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology; 2) be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; 3) hold or be eligible to obtain Illinois medical licensure; 4) have 5-10 years of attending experience in managing obstetrics and gynecology patients and; 5) demonstrate a strong commitment to academic medicine and patient care as well as resident and medical student education. Applicants able to begin employment on or before January 1, 2017 are preferred.Academic rank and salary will be dependent upon qualifications.
