Hours: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week/ 8:30am-5:30pm / M-F)
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Full-time Faculty Assistant for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Faculty Assistant position provides the following support for the Law Instruction department:
Instruction Support: Order instructional materials, upload materials into Canvas, handle AV requests, and assist with general correspondence needs, e.g., recommendation letters, and reprint mailings. Arrange logistics for meetings, including catering and room reservations. Arrange and maintain travel schedules, including flight and hotel coordination. Prepare and format manuscripts, articles, and casebooks for publication in law journals and book publishers. Assist with Word processing projects, including spreadsheet creation/editing, transcript revisions, etc. Submit events to faculty calendar (including, colloquia, links to papers, and workshops). Keep faculty informed of events.
Financial Support:Process expense reports for assigned faculty and visitors of the faculty following university and departmental guidelines. Review, monitor, and disseminate monthly budget statements to assigned faculty. Pro-actively review, explain, and problem solve budgetary issues, and answer questions related to the report.

MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
