The Department of Political Science at Northwestern University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of political methodology at the rank of assistant professor. The department seeks candidates who connect cutting-edge quantitative methodological issues to substantive debates in political science, particularly in domains related to comparative politics or international relations, and whose research trajectories connect with "big data" methods including machine learning, nonparametric statistics, and text as data methods.
