The Project Coordinator/Behavioral Health Specialist coordinates a wide variety of research administration and technical tasks in support of the NWATTC daily operations and evaluation. This position ensures successful implementation of program and grant initiatives. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills. The Project Coordinator is responsible for completing a wide variety of training, research summaries, technical assistance and evaluation tasks related to the NWATTC objectives. Provides introductory orientation and technical assistance, consultation and training consistent with the required deliverables of the grant(s) including work with primary care settings, specialty treatment clinics and mental health care settings. This position will report to Research Operations Manager and also provides support to PI and Associate Director. We are looking for an experienced self-initiator willing to perform a variety of tasks and motivated in a career in Public Health and Social Sciences. This position is both a community & clinical research liaison position. Community oriented team player.
Masters degree with major courses in relevant field and 3 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelors degree with major courses in field of research and 5 years of relevant experience.
Three years of experience with responsibility for project coordination and team collaboration with duties similar to key duties and responsibilities.
Research writing experience; report writing experienceListserv maintenance.
Must be an experienced and able to work autonomously.
Able to perform variety of tasks.
Must be motivated in a career in Public Health and Social Sciences.
Community oriented team player.
Must possess excellent verbal, written and communication skills and a professional image with a demonstrated ability to interact with management, consultants, and customers.
Ability to lead events and write reports, summarize literature and create brief updates from meetings, literature and evaluation data.
An initiator, willing to work on all aspects of projects and think outside the box.
Must be comfortable with human subjects research and evaluation data (confidentiality, HIPAA, etc. and academic medical settings).
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Organizational skills and ability to perform flexibly with heavy workload, tight deadlines, and changing priorities.
Proficient with computers, particularly with Microsoft Word, Access and Excel; Adobe Professional and web design.
Operation of office equipment.
A Masters Degree and four or more years of project coordination and/or project assistant experience.
