The Clinical Informatics Pharmacist uses technology to optimize electronic medication pathways and clinical decision support (CDS). In this role, the pharmacist works closely with clinicians, departmental leadership, and pertinent Health System committees to clarify needs and prioritize requests for system improvements.
The Informatics Pharmacist is responsible for effective design, development, testing and implementation of system changes and enhancements. The pharmacist analyst in this role is responsible for EMR changes and issue resolution related to medication records and workflow as well as inpatient ordersets.
Registered Pharmacist license issued by the state of California (RPH).
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree; or equivalent clinical experience.
Pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.
Five (5) years of Clinical Informatics or relevant Clinical Pharmacy experience in a large, complex Healthcare environment.
Epic implementation experience for a large health system.
