The University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science, Entry Level Doctor of Physical Therapy program (PTRS) is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. Responsibilities include didactic instruction within the PTRS DPT Program in areas of content expertise; participation in curriculum evaluation and development of the DPT program; student advisement; engagement in scholarly activities; and service; participation in clinical activities as appropriate.

About PTRS and the Campus
PTRS is located on the professional campus of the University of Maryland in Baltimore, the founding campus of the University of Maryland system, residing within the research-intensive University of Maryland School of Medicine. The Department offers the Entry level DPT and a PhD in Physical Rehabilitation Science http://pt.umaryland.edu. The ideal applicant will possess or be eligible for Maryland Physical Therapy licensure, have Doctoral training and previous academic teaching experience or experience teaching physical therapists or physical therapy students; didactic and clinical expertise as a generalist, with ability to teach in both foundational and clinical science courses; evidence of scholarly work and service involvement; ability to work collaboratively and successfully within multicultural campus and community settings.
