The Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC), Department of Psychiatry, and the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Department of Epidemiology and Public Health (EPH), University of Maryland School of Medicine are seeking doctoral-level applicants for a full time leadership position in biostatistics, with primary responsibilities devoted to psychiatric research. The successful candidate will have a track record in mental health research and publications in the areas of biostatistics and applied statistics. Managerial or administrative experience is preferred for a leadership role supervising data management and statistical personnel, directing the MPRC biostatistics core and consultation/collaboration with preclinical and clinical research faculty. We are interested in candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching/mentoring, research and service, which contribute to an equitable, inclusive and diverse scholarly environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
The MPRC is located in Catonsville, Maryland; EPH is located on the inter-professional campus of the University of Maryland in downtown Baltimore.
