The University of Maryland School of Medicine's Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking an additional full-time faculty member to expand our current clinical programs. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest and experience in the clinical management of HIV, and other infectious diseases. The position will involve translational research with the DC Partnership for HIV/AIDS Progress (DC PFAP).

Applicants must be board-certified in internal medicine and board eligible or board certified in infectious diseases. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive clinical care in outpatient settings to patients with infectious diseases, including HIV and HCV infections. Major interests of the IHV Clinical Research Division include chronic viral pathogenesis, viral immunoregulation, and the development and clinical evaluation of immunological, gene therapeutic and novel biological approaches to therapy of chronic human viral pathogens. Viral pathogens of programmatic interest include HIV, HTLV-I/II, HBV, HCV, and HSV-6. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate to experience.
