Research Associate - Pathology & Comparative Medicine/Veterinary Resources-(160000EC)
The Department of Pathology and The Comparative Medicine/Veterinary Resources Programs, University of Maryland School of Medicine, are seeking a faculty member at the Research Associate level to join an expanding research team in Comparative Medicine. Candidates with a VMD, DVM, or equivalent doctoral degree will be considered. The person filling this position will have responsibilities as an attending veterinarian, train scientists and staff to meet animal welfare regulations, and advise on animal model development. They will need previous experience in the laboratory animal research field especially in the area of rodent models and colony management.

A license to practice veterinary medicine is preferred. Over the long term, candidates should be able to develop collaborative research activities.
