Minimum Qualifications: .Associates degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and a minimum of three years healthcare experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have excellent written/oral communication, analytical and organizational skills. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be self motivated , demonstrate personal accountability, be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have strong PC skills. Must have working knowledge of billing and collection process. Previous training experience strongly preferred.
Job Standard / Operational Needs: Under the general guidance of the Patient Financial Services management team, the Trainer/Quality Analyst is responsible for developing an effective training and quality control program for all Business Office staff. This shall include documented procedures and workflows, audit protocols, quality control audit logs and a non-paper, server based means of retention. The Trainer/Quality Analyst is expected to work collaboratively with all managers and supervisors within the business office to determine the optimum processes and workflows and will have significant interaction with the Epic Business Analyst. The incumbent will attend webinars/seminars provided by payors, governmental agencies, etc., and provide training or communication to business office staff as necessary. The incumbent is also responsible to communicate with various external departments to ensure business office procedures interrelate effectively with areas such as Patient Access Services, Utilization Management and Clinical Data Services. Special projects may be assigned by the Patient Financial Services management team.w
