We have an outstanding full time opportunity for a Nurse Recruiter to join our Nursing Recruitment team.
This position will be responsible for working directly with hiring managers to plan, develop and implement full-cycle recruitment strategies for RN and advanced practice positions in assigned areas, with special emphasis on creating a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. The successful candidate must be results oriented, have experience with developing and implementing creative recruiting strategies, and excel in working in a high volume recruitment environment.
Minimum of 3 years' recruiting experience, preferably in nurse recruitment
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Excellent computer knowledge and skills
Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
Must have some schedule flexibility as role entails some travel and attendance at both local and out of the area career events
Experience placing nursing professionals at a healthcare facility or trauma center
Solid understanding of nurse retention programs and strategic nurse recruiting processes

Travel between Harborview, UW Medical Center, and the UW campus
Other travel as needed for professional and recruiting functions such as job fair
