Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology: Lecturer Pool (Ongoing)

The Department of Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an on-going pool of temporary instructors in the position of Lecturer in MCD Biology. Outstanding candidates with experience teaching in the following specialties within biology are encouraged to apply: cell and molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, development, neuroscience, human physiology, microbiology, and in particular, laboratory instruction.
SALARY: Estimated range: $7400-$8,500 per course. Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced Degree or equivalent foreign degree in Biology or related field and demonstrated record of college level teaching experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Biology or related field and University level teaching experience, including TA experience.
