For each specialty the responsibilities may include teaching courses, supervising students, and working in the clinic. They may also be assisting full time faculty in course or clinic coverage, grading and evaluating students, and other responsibilities as given.
REQUIRED ACADEMIC PREPARATION: DDS, BDS, or DMD and completion of an advanced education training program in the appropriate specialty.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Private practice or teaching experience. Minnesota dental or dental hygiene license required.
For Prosthodontics--Required Academic Preparation: Successful completion of an accredited advanced education program in prosthodontics. Required Experience: Experience in the clinical practice of prosthodontics.
For Endodontics--Required Academic Preparation: DDS/DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school and completion of an advanced education training program in Endodontics. Required Experience: Minnesota dental license required; experience in clinical practice and teaching highly desirable.
For Operative Dentistry--Required Academic Preparation: DDS degree. Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years practice experience.
