Advertised Summary Job Description: Reporting to the director of Columbia Creative and serving as a lead developer in the Columbia Web Development Working Group, the web developer works closely with designers and project managers to build and maintain websites and other digital products, including databases, email campaigns, and enterprise-level digital solutions. The web developer is also a liaison to Columbia University Information Technology developers.
Build and manage Drupal websites and other web products
Provide guidance on information architecture, taxonomy, coding, designing and hosting
Serves as a technical liaison in web development between Columbia Creative and other departments, especially Columbia University Information Technology
Design and execute email marketing campaigns
Manage departmental database
Serve as a lead developer on the Columbia Web Development Working Group, providing guidance on web guidelines, digital asset management, and other University-wide digital initiatives
