The On-Line Learning Specialist reports to the University Director, Regional Center for College Students with Learning Disabilities, and receives oversight, day-to-day work direction, guidance, and training from the Director, Learning Disabilities Virtual Tutoring Program. Primary responsibilities will be the provision of on-line academic support services to college students with learning disabilities. In addition, the incumbent will be involved in monitoring the student's progress in their courses and using instructional resources and technological resources.
1.Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in content area of support or closely related field preferred.
2.Ability to support college level content area courses.
3.Teaching experience in content area preferred.
4.Experience working with students with learning disabilities preferred.
5.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
