Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for CT ICU The University of Washington (UW), located in beautiful Seattle, Washington, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing cardiothoracic critical care team. This is a great opportunity to become a faculty member at one of the nation's leading medical and academic institutions, and work in a fast-paced, supportive, and autonomous environment. Our critical care team at the UW provides 24-hour coverage for high acuity patients including heart and lung transplant, ECMO, and MCS patients. Duties and Responsibilities:
Work on dedicated CT ICU in an inter-professional team with other established APPs and critical care physicians from the Divisions of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiothoracic Anesthesia
Perform bedside ICU procedures
Provide a full spectrum of care for critically ill patients
Participate in the education of nursing staff and surgical residents
Help conduct quality improvement and process improvement activities for the CT ICU Service This Opportunity Includes:

Individuals who have previous ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider or have post-graduate fellowship training in critical care, are encouraged to apply. Motivated APP applicants with a passion to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary training, who do not meet the ICU work experience or additional fellowship training will be considered on an individual basis.
