The Division of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of part-time, non-tenured track lecturer positions. Screening of applicants begins on December 8, 2014 and will continue as needed. Applicants will be selected from this pool for two calendar years; some appointments are expected to begin in the 2015 spring semester. The number of positions will vary from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the School.
Teaching Responsibilities: We are seeking outstanding lecturers who can teach/co-teach lecturer seminar and lecture courses in health policy and management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include: holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus) and maintaining a course website.
Qualifications: An advanced degree in health policy and management or equivalent work experience by the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications: Documented experience teaching college-level courses in health policy and management is strongly preferred.
Salary: Full-time salary range of $49,012 - $138,264, commensurate with experience.

We typically review applications for fall course needs in April and May, and in October and November for spring course needs. Expected start dates are the beginning of each semester and duration of appointment is either one or two semesters, depending on course.
