Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, NYS R.N. License/Registration (or eligible), three years post-licensure acute care experience (preferably in behavioral health/psychiatric nursing) to include one year of leadership experience, Nursing Leadership certification upon appointment or obtained within three years of appointment, excellent written/oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, plus CPR certification required. Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.
Job Standard / Operational Needs: Will assume primary leadership role and management of defined clinical nursing areas to facilitate and deliver comprehensive nursing care and the environment in which care is given. Major functions include: goals, planning, customer service/marketing, standards, certification and accreditation, administrative management, budget/cost containment, communication, and education.
