Position Summary: The Department of History at Princeton University has an occasional need for part-time lecturers to teach precepts (sections) in areas such as the history of North and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and history of science. The position requires leading discussions, attending course lectures, being available for meetings with the course instructor(s), holding regular office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointments are subject to enrollments and may be for one semester or the academic year beginning September 1, 2016. An advanced degree is required; PhDs or doctoral candidates preferred.
