The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Division of Neurosurgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles is actively seeking a Pediatric Neurosurgeon. Academic rank will commensurate with training and achievement. Applications are being sought at the assistant professor level.
The Division is committed to clinical service, clinical research and didactic instruction of postgraduate trainees in Pediatric Neurosurgery. Applicants must have completed a pediatric neurosurgical fellowship.
Our Pediatric Neurosurgery Division is amongst the nation's busiest with over 700 neurosurgical procedures and 4,000 outpatient visits each year.
Children's Hospital Los Angeles is ranked among the top hospitals in the nation for neurosurgery on the U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospitals List. About half of all pediatric neurosurgical operations in Los Angeles County are performed by surgeons from our division. This high volume of cases leads to high success rates in treatment with our experts routinely performing surgeries for complex neurosurgical conditions.
Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine is available at a level appropriate to training and experience.
