Posting Summary: University Transit Service (UTS) is seeking a reliable Part-Time Dispatcher to respond to phone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries regarding UTS's fixed route service, charter service, and UBike bikeshare service. The Part-Time Dispatcher will use software to dispatch transit units, communicate with driving staff via a two-way radio, and serve as the central point of communication at UTS for passenger and bikeshare user inquiries.

Required Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Required Minimum Level of Experience: None
Preferred Minimum Level of Experience: Some - up to 4 years
Preferred Specific Experience: Experience working within a fixed route transit-providing organization. Some experience in a professional office setting and some experience providing front-line customer service is strongly preferred. Experience with two-way radio operation, global positioning software, and scheduling software is preferred.
Required License or Certification: Valid driver's license with a good driving record (as in, a positive point balance on the license).
