Posting Summary: The McIntire School of Commerce is seeking applications for the position of Career Services Associate. The Career Services Associate role is a multifaceted administrative position with primary responsibility for managing the front desk and general office operations within Commerce Career Services. As this is a key customer-interfacing role, the Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, employers and visitors while actively participating as an integral member of the Commerce Career Services (CCS) team. In addition to managing the front desk and general office operations, the Career Services Associate will assume varied administrative functions including but not limited to: managing and maintaining the CCS website, career portal, internal document server and reception library; hiring and supervising work study students; supporting placement tracking and data management activities using the Destinations Portfolio system and Salesforce; and providing administrative support to Directors and Deans as needed.

Required Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Preferred Specific Degree/Training: bachelor's degree in business or higher ed preferred
Required Minimum Level of Experience: Considerable - 4 to 7 years
Required Specific Experience: at least 4 years of experience as an administrative assistant (or similar position) required

Required Computer Applications: Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Outlook, MailChimp and ease in learning and using new technology platforms
