Posting Summary: The University of Virginia's Department of Parking and Transportation is searching for a reliable Luxury Vehicle Service Technician.
The Luxury Vehicle Service Technician ("Luxury Tech") is responsible for fueling, checking fluids, and minor upkeep and repair of the fleet of three luxury charter coach buses, and one luxury minibus at the University Transit Service and Department of Parking and Transportation. This is a part-time position that requires a need for detailed record keeping skills, as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Required License or Certification: State of Virginia Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements is required. Must possess a good driving record, as indicated by a positive or zero point balance on the license.
Preferred License or Certification: First Aid / CPR license, internal bodily fluid clean-up training

Required Computer Applications: Ability interact with basic web-based computer programs for record-keeping, timesheet entry, and personnel functions.
Preferred Computer Applications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook; ability to access, read, and apply basic working knowledge of computers to respond to e-mail and interact with payroll software. Specific software used includes: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), TransLoc, and T2 Flex.
