Posting Summary: The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Body Imaging Division at the University of Virginia, seeks candidates for tenure-ineligible Clinical Instructor positions in Abdominal Imaging for a July 1, 2018 start date. This one year post-graduate fellowship program focuses on all aspects of abdominal imaging, and provides advanced training in cross-sectional imaging of the abdomen and pelvis. Training is in adult scanning, abdominal and obstetrical ultrasound and MR imaging. Extensive experience will be gained in interventional procedures, such as CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies, abscess drainages and if desired, fluoroscopically-guided GI tract interventions. This training opportunity is held in one of the premier academic communities in the country.
Candidates must have a MD or equivalent, qualify for a Virginia Medical License and have completed a four year Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
