The 340B Analyst is responsible for abstracting, submission, and validation of data requirements for Keck Medical Center of USC. The 340B analyst will oversee the flow of data and identify data and IT issues that affect the integrity and compliance of the 340B program.
-College graduate in a health related field required; advanced degree preferred.
-2 Years in data analysis or direct operations of 340B program at a covered entity.
-Technical expertise regarding data models audit processes and database design development.
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
-Adept at queries and report writing.
-Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when to use appropriately.
-Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
-Ability to update CDM/Chargemaster in a timely and relevant fashion.
-Abiltity to update and maintain data crosswalks.
The following are helpful but not required:
-Experience with electronic health record applications (e.g. Cerner) preferred
-Experience with billing software (e.g. Showcase) preferred.
-Experience with 340B split billing software (e.g. MacroHelix) preferred.
-Healthcare background or experience preferred.
-A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 30 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
