Position will analyze business requirements and rules, develop, edit and modify computer programs and provide database administration, maintenance and tuning. Has the ability to generate complex reports through joining databases and enabling them to “talk” to each other. Ability to create and maintain visualizations of key data sets through understanding of the business, industry and needs of staff. Works productively with staff, volunteer leaders and vendors under minimal supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or other relevant field
1-3 years practical experience administrating and customizing SQL Server in staged and production environment.
Excellent knowledge of relational database design, analysis, and administration
Knowledge of database theory (query languages) and design
Experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and T-SQL
Familiar with Object Oriented Languages (.Net is a plus)
Knowledge of non-profit association businesses and practices – or service/product environments
Knowledge of SDLC
Ability to manage multiple tasks, with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to solve problems, troubleshoot, and quickly and independently learn new skills
Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced multitasking environment
Experience in data-driven web development using .Net is a plus
