Description: The Rowan University Department of Music?s growing Vocal Division is now hiring a studio voice teacher to instruct undergraduate students in the Music Education, Vocal Performance and Bachelor of Arts degree programs. Group class voice instruction may also be required. Opportunities for teaching classes in Vocal Pedagogy and Vocal Literature will be based on the candidate?s qualifications.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold at least a Masters Degree in Music and will have an established career as a professional solo singer of classical repertoire. A strong record of success as a voice teacher is required. In addition, the candidate will be proficient in Italian, German and French diction, have knowledge of vocal literature and vocal pedagogy, and have proficient piano skills. Experience in teaching voice at the university level is preferred.
