This position will provide support to the Director of Culinary Excellence and provide leadership in the areas of development of menus and standards for various hospitality operations at Yale University.

Required Skill/ability 1: Well-developed organizational skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Strong oral and written communication, supervisory, conceptual and analytical skills.
Required Skill/ability 2: Excellent technical skills: strong and demonstrated experience with food service management systems or similar recipe development/menu management system; strong database management skills; Microsoft Office, use of internet and e-mail.
Required Skill/ability 3: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as being a member of a team.
Required Skill/ability 4: Knowledge of food service quality and safety, sustainability standards and applied nutrition.
Required Skill/ability 5:
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Previous experience working in a Union environment is preferred.
Required Licenses Or Certifications: Certification in Sanitation and Food Service handling.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and six years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
