The Quality Analyst supports new and established quality initiatives for the USC Care Medical Group and ambulatory clinics. Responsible for collecting, screening, and analyzing information and data from numerous systems and regulatory organizations, including providing judgment necessary to determine the accuracy and applicability of the information. Analyst manipulates databases to produce analyses, create automated dashboards, and support the creation of presentations for leadership and improvement projects, while ensuring quality control of the documents. Developing collaborate customer relationships and clear communication are vital to the role.
-Bachelor's degree required
-Master's degree preferred or in progress (MBA, MHA, MPH, MS, etc.)
-0-2 years experience (academic or through internships) in statistical analysis and project management.
-Proficient PC skills. Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and statistical software programs. Knowledge of business (operational, clinical, and financial) statistics and data analyses techniques. Ability to manage and analyze data. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
-Experience in an academic medical center. Experience with QlikView or similar data analytics tools.
-A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 30 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
