Summary Description: The College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking one or more outstanding scientists in the Biomedical Sciences for appointment as the inaugural College of Physicians and Surgeons Research Scholar. These assistant professor positions are limited to MD, PhD or MD-PhD researchers who have, in general, 4 years or less of postdoctoral fellowship and who have demonstrated exceptional ability, creativity and productivity as reflected in first or senior author publications in leading scientific journals. Applicants who do not meet these criteria should not apply.There is no limitation regarding the field of research and departmental affiliation will be decided after selection. Adequate start-up funds, space and mentorship will be provided.
