CLINICIAN EDUCATOR DIVISION OF GENERAL INTERNAL MEDICINE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO
The Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco seeks outstanding Clinician-Educator faculty who will combine the provision of ambulatory internal medicine with other academic responsibilities. Candidates with experience and career interest in medical education, practice innovation/quality improvement, and adult urgent care are encouraged to apply. The general medicine clinics at Mt. Zion are Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Homes with 68 residents and 43 faculty caring for 25,000 patients.
Candidates must have demonstrated skill in ambulatory internal medicine and the provision of comprehensive care to diverse populations and demonstrated participation in scholarly activities related to education of medical students or residents, collaborative clinical research studies, or other academic activities. Candidates must be American Board of Internal Medicine certified or eligible and possess both valid California medical license and valid DEA by start date.
