The Pierre Laclede Honors College at UM-St. Louis seeking applicants for future part-time teaching, not limited to the fall 2015 semester. Disciplines include composition and rhetoric, political science, and other social sciences, as well as natural sciences. Courses are taught in small, seminar-style classes on innovative topics. Duties include part-time teaching in the Honors College and close student interaction.
Qualifications for part-time adjunct instructors include: At least a Master's degree in one of the fields listed above, and a minimum of three years of higher education teaching experience is required. Some experience in an Honors program, seminar-style teaching, first-year and freshman experience instuction, and/or general education teaching are preferred.
