Assistant/Associate Professor, Psychiatric Mental Health
The qualified candidate will maintain a teaching assignment in the area of expertise. Qualifications include meeting all instructional requirements, including class and clinical scheduling, clinical site visits, preparing for class/clinical, evaluating assignments, assessing student learning outcomes and program evaluation. Advising students on professional and/or course related matters. Participating in curriculum development including designing, reviewing, and revising courses and programs. Chair and/or service on Capstone experience, if applicable. Supervising clinical mentors, clinical preceptors, teaching assistants, and clinical associates according to approval and accrediting agencies.
This position is accountable to the Dean of the College of Nursing through the direct supervision of the Department Chair and is expected to participate in teaching, scholarly activities, and service commensurate with criteria for faculty ranking.

This position is a full-time 12 month appointment. An MSN is required. A Doctorate degree in Nursing or closely related field is required to achieve rank of tenure professor. Must have an unencumbered current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio or eligible for RN licensure in Ohio. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience as a registered nurse. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Must meet background check requirements based on Ohio statutes.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is competitive and commensurate with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
