Job Description Summary:
The Department of International Business (School of Business) at the George Washington University invites applications for a tenure track position in International Business at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning as early as the academic year 2017-18, subject to final approval by the Board of Trustees.
Applicants must have a doctorate in a field relevant to International Business, such as economics, management, finance, strategy, sociology, political science or a related field. ABDs will be considered, but must complete all requirements for the doctorate by the date of appointment. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment and ability/potential to conduct high-quality scholarly research publishable in top outlets on topics important to international business, as evidenced by publications in scholarly journals or scholarly works-in-progress or recommendations by respected scholars as research references. Applicants must also demonstrate teaching excellence as indicated by teaching letters of recommendation or teaching assessments.
