| Rowan University is a comprehensive state-designated research institution with approximately 16,000 students. Its main campus is located in Glassboro, N.J., 20-miles southeast of Philadelphia, and it has a branch campus and medical school in Camden and a second medical school in nearby Stratford. Rowan is one of two universities in the country to offer M.D. and D.O. medical-degree programs. The School of Osteopathic Medicine has a faculty practice plan that serves approximately 200,000 patients throughout Southern New Jersey. The institution is also home to the South Jersey Technology Park, which fosters the translation of applied research into commercial products and processes. At the Rohrer College of Business (RCB) we empower students to achieve sustainable careers through professionally oriented programs and real-world immersion experiences, integrating relevant faculty research, entrepreneurial thinking, responsible leadership, and community collaboration. Accredited by AACSB, and with its MIS program accredited by ABET, the RCB is led by teacher-scholars who foster innovative practices in business education.
The RCB has approximately 1,550 undergraduate students and 145 masters? level students and is experiencing a period of unprecedented programmatic and enrollment growth. The successful candidate will have:
A Ph.D. in Management or a management related field, completed by September 1, 2017
Proven excellence as a teacher and demonstrated potential for excellence as a researcher
The ability to teach organizational behavior and leadership
One or more of the following are a plus:
A secondary teaching interest in the area of international business and/or strategy
Teaching, research, and/or practical experience in the area of PRME/responsible leadership
Relevant industry experience
