Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time or part-time faculty in the pre-doctoral Pediatric Dentistry program in the Department of General Dentistry. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.This is a non-tenure track position. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree, prior teaching and/or private practice experience in pediatric dentistry, and be eligible for full dental licensure or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Advanced training at an accredited pediatric dentistry program is required and board certification is preferred. Applicants must be eligible for credentialing at Boston Medical Center.
Responsibilities will include pre-clinical and clinical teaching to undergraduate dental students. We monitor our students at several off-campus sites for their clinical rotations. A demonstrated record of teaching experience, involvement in leadership in dentistry at the local or national level, with participation in community service is also desirable.
