This position provides strategic direction, leadership, and planning, organizational and general management for all aspects of the Case Management program which includes Case Management, Transfer Center, Social Work, Utilization Review, Denial Management and Clinical Documentation Improvement. Incumbent is responsible for development, implementation and ongoing success of department and related organizational objectives and goals.
-Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Social Work required. Master's in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Health or related field preferred.
-Minimum of 3 years' management experience at the director level in a relevant health are setting in areas relevant to Case Management.
-Minimum of 5 years of Case Management and/or Social Work experience in a healthcare setting.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
-Proven track record of creating a high performing interdisciplinary team.
-Experience in effectively leading change and managing conflict.
-Must have exceptional interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated ability to lead change and effectively manage conflict.
-Excellent analytic skills.
-Excellent working knowledge of desktop computer productivity tools.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, CADP, and other regulatory and compliance requirements.
-Knowledge of safety strategies.
-Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
-Must demonstrate extraordinary levels of customer service and transmit these behaviors to the entire case management team.
-Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
-Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization from senior management to bedside staff.
-A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 30 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.

Minimum of four years experience in a management or charge nurse position required. Five years experience as an RN required. Prior management experience in area of specialty. Minimum of five years Perioperative Nursing Leadership experience.
