Position Status: Regular full-time
The Texas Biomedical Device Center supports active projects in vagus nerve stimulation, recovery from neurological injuries, tinnitus therapies, and implantable neural devices. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and scientists to develop biomedical devices for eventual deployment as clinical medical therapy devices.
Plan, conduct and direct a wide variety of experiments and be responsible for the evaluation and interpretation of the data obtained.
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preferred qualifications would be experience with preclinical models of neurological injury and disease.
