The salary for this position will depend on qualifications and experience.

Conditions of Employment
This position is a member of the Management Personnel Plan and serves at the pleasure of the President.
Reporting to the Director, Campus Recreation, Student Center & Event Operations, this position is responsible for management of the operational, financial and personnel activities of the General Services area including: Campus Prints, convenience copier, mail, post office, shipping, receiving and storage.
Manage and direct the operations of Campus Prints, a full-service digital print outlet and production facility, including developing and maintaining digital store front.
Manage and direct the mail, shipping and receiving operation.
Successful resolution of customer service issues.
Create and implement procedures to evaluate service and customer satisfaction.
Develop appropriate financial procedures in concert with Financial Services.
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, laws, and codes dealing with functional areas.
Serve as Appropriate Administrator for the General Services Staff.
Develop and manage the budget for General Services.
Participate in inside and outside sales of printed and copied products and paper.
Evaluate and recommend new equipment purchases, therefore, the selected candidate will be required to file Conflict of Interest Form 700: Statement of Economic Interest on an annual basis, complete ethics training.
Performs other secondary duties as assigned.
Duties take place mostly in an office and productions setting located in the Student Center at Sonoma State University. Position requires occasional travel, including by airplane. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, as well as some night and weekend hours with overnight stays. As an exempt employee, the Campus Recreation Manager has some flexibility in work schedule, but must be available during regular campus hours and maintain acceptable attendance at such levels as is determined by the Appropriate Administrator.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to review, interpret and develop technical guidelines, policies and procedures, and demonstrated excellence in providing customer service is required. Incumbent must possess superior diplomatic customer service assistance skills with the ability to professionally manage problems; experience supervising a customer service-based team; professional experience working in team-oriented environment with a high quality and reliability requirements; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills; excellent interpersonal and team building skills; demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage several projects simultaneously; excellent computer skills; strong analytical skills and creative problem solving abilities and initiative. The ability to identify significant new market niches and opportunities consistent with the Sonoma State University mission. Demonstrated commitment to and track record in outstanding customer service. Extensive knowledge of software products including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, database management and Adobe Creative Suite.
