| Rowan University is a comprehensive state-designated research institution with approximately 16,000 students. The College of Engineering has undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Computer, and Mechanical Engineering. Biomedical Engineering is our newest department and is in a period of substantial growth.
Major metropolitan areas within the Northeast Corridor are within easy reach of Glassboro. Philadelphia is a thirty minute drive, New York City and Washington, D.C. are less than three hours away, and Jersey beaches are only an hour drive.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rowan University is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track position to teach undergraduate courses within the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Successful candidates are expected to have demonstrated excellence in teaching and excellent written and oral communication skills.
A Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and a baccalaureate degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program (or equivalent) is required. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills.
The anticipated starting date for this biomedical engineering visiting faculty position will be September 1, 2016.
