The Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine a major component of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center is recruiting faculty to develop research programs at the Feinberg School of Medicine in the field of thoracic malignancies. This position will be on the tenure-eligible or tenured investigator track. This position is open to the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor ranks. Rank and salary will be based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position that requires an M.D, Ph.D. or M.D. / Ph.D. degree. The candidate will be expected to develop an extramurally funded research program in the molecular and cellular biology of lung cancer including the identification of new therapeutic targets and agents. This position will collaborate closely with faculty and leadership in Thoracic Surgery and qualified candidates will be eligible for a secondary appointment in that Division of the Department of Surgery.
