Faculty Position, University of California San Diego: The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Gastroenterology is actively recruiting a full time Hepatologist with a major emphasis in Liver Transplant. Responsibilities include inpatient/outpatient consultation service and teaching. Outreach activities to support program growth will also be required. Excellent opportunities for clinical research are available.
Applicants must be eligible for California medical license and board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology. The Department is interested in candidates who have demonstrated commitment to excellence by providing leadership in teaching, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Review of applications will begin June 16, 2016 and continue until the position is filled.
