PEOPLESOFT ANALYST/PROGRAMMER (Analyst/Programmer Career or Expert)

The PeopleSoft Analyst Programmer provides on-going technical and analytic support, and programming for the PeopleSoft HR and Campus Solutions applications. Additionally, this position will coordinate and implement system modifications, create documentation and participate in strategic planning of system enhancements.
The Expert level works independently under general direction on the most complex problems and assignments and is expected to possess extensive expertise with PeopleSoft programming. The Career level works relatively independently under general supervision and is expected to solve a wide range of problems at a proficient level.
EXPERT LEVEL- Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in information technology, computer science, educational technology, communications or a related field
Three years of full-time relevant experience performing related PeopleSoft application development and support.
CAREER LEVEL- Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in information technology, computer science, educational technology, communications or a related field
Two years of full-time relevant experience performing related PeopleSoft application development and support.Special Requirements:
- The person holding this position is considered a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
- A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Incumbent/applicant will need to be able to perform the essential job functions (duties) of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. This position alternates between remaining in a stationary position operating a personal computer for long periods of time and frequently moving about inside the office. Must be able to travel across campus to other offices and buildings on campus for meetings and events.

Position involves frequent interaction with campus community and other members of the Information Resources organization, and with functional and technical members of the campus community. Work is performed in a typical, open office environment with cubicles or segregated office space, and will be operating standard office equipment.
