The expanding Department of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is seeking outstanding candidates for a part-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatric Dermatology on the clinician educator or clinician scholar line. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and academic scholarship. Duties include teaching of residents and medical students, direct patient care, development of a Pediatric Dermatology Division and participation in scholarly activities. Clinical responsibilities will be conducted at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The Keck School of Medicine of USC, founded in 1885, has been a close affiliate with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 1932. Its mission has been to improve the quality of life for individuals and society by promoting health, preventing and curing disease, advancing biomedical research and educating tomorrow’s physicians and scientists. The Department of Dermatology is rapidly growing with 16 full-time faculty, three R01 grants, a growing Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural Dermatology, Dermatopathology and Dermatoepidemiology Unit.
